
Electric Distribution Mechanic
The City of Los Angeles is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electric Distribution Mechanic with a passion for excellence to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electric distribution systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical and electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. We are looking for a creative and reliable team player who can work independently and as part of a team.The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, in addition to a valid California driver’s license and a valid California journeyman or master electrician license. The candidate should also have at least five years of experience working with electric distribution systems and equipment in an industrial, commercial, or residential setting. Furthermore, the candidate must demonstrate knowledge of safety rules and regulations, and of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and related standards. This individual should also be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
