
Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic
The City of Los Angeles is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic who will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate must have excellent technical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety. An ideal candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a valid driver's license. The Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic must have a minimum of two years of training in the repair of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment and must have a strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems. The ideal candidate should have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings, as well as possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
