
Maintenance and Construction Helper
The City of Los Angeles is looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance and Construction Helper to join our public works department. We are looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail while performing a wide range of maintenance and construction duties. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and is eager to learn and grow in the industry.The Maintenance and Construction Helper will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks for buildings and structures located in the City of Los Angeles. This position requires a candidate with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in building maintenance and/or construction. You should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a must. Finally, you should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to stand, stoop, and climb ladders on a regular basis.
