High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Maintenance Worker At City Of Menlo Park Must Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Educational Skills And Knowledge.
Experience In Building Maintenance: Applicants For This Position Should Have Prior Experience In Building Maintenance, Including Basic Plumbing, Electrical, And Carpentry Skills. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Work Experience Or Vocational Training.
Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: A Maintenance Worker Should Have A Good Understanding Of Safety Procedures And Protocols To Ensure A Safe Working Environment For Themselves And Others.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Job Requires Physical Labor Such As Lifting Heavy Objects, Standing For Long Periods, And Working In Various Weather Conditions. Therefore, Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Have The Stamina To Perform These Tasks.
Valid Driver's License: A Valid Driver's License Is Necessary For This Position, As The Maintenance Worker May Be Required To Drive City Vehicles To Different Job Sites. A Clean Driving Record Is Also Preferred.
