- Manage all property and evidence related to criminal investigations.
- Work closely with the police department to ensure safe and proper handling of evidence and property.
- Assist in the investigation process by providing accurate and timely information.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all property and evidence.
- Develop and implement procedures for the proper handling, storage, and disposal of evidence and property.
- Maintain a secure and organized property and evidence storage facility.
- Coordinate with other departments and agencies to transfer evidence and property as needed.
- Communicate effectively with police officers and other team members regarding property and evidence-related matters.
- Provide support during court proceedings by retrieving and organizing evidence for use in trials.
- Train and educate department personnel on evidence handling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in evidence handling laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in departmental meetings and provide input on property and evidence-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In Law Enforcement Or Property Management.
Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Property And Evidence Handling.
Excellent Organizational And Inventory Management Skills.
