  1. Maintaining the library's collection by organizing, shelving, and cataloging books and other materials.
  2. Assisting patrons with locating materials, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service.
  3. Promoting literacy and learning by creating displays, organizing events, and recommending books and resources to patrons.
  4. Utilizing library systems and computer skills to manage circulation, check-in and check-out materials, and assist with research.
  5. Collaborating with library staff to develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of the community.
  6. Ensuring the library is clean, organized, and welcoming to all patrons.
  7. Staying up-to-date on current library trends, technologies, and resources to better serve patrons.
  8. Maintaining accurate records and statistics related to library usage and materials.
  9. Participating in professional development and training opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  10. Demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusion in all interactions with patrons and colleagues.
  11. Communicating effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including coworkers, patrons, and community members.
  12. Adhering to library policies and procedures and promoting a safe and respectful environment for all.
  13. Performing other duties as assigned by the library manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Library Science Or A Related Field.
