Job Description

The City of Philadelphia is looking to fill the role of Urban Health Policy Fellow with a highly motivated individual who is committed to improving the health and well-being of Philadelphians. This position offers an incredible opportunity to join a diverse and dedicated team of policy makers and advocates in creating meaningful and lasting change in our city. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for public health, a commitment to community engagement, and a desire to make a positive impact. We are seeking a creative and innovative thinker with a strong background in health policy, community outreach and public health programming. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field. In addition, the candidate must have at least one year of experience in health policy, advocacy, or programming and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Experience working with underserved communities is highly desirable. The successful candidate must also demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
