
Benefits and Wellness Manager

- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive benefits and wellness programs for City of Pittsburgh employees and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to benefits and wellness programs.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in benefits and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and other stakeholders to design, negotiate, and implement cost-effective benefits packages.
- Communicate and educate employees about available benefits and wellness programs, including eligibility, enrollment, and changes.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of employee benefits enrollment, payments, and claims.
- Coordinate and facilitate wellness activities and events, such as health fairs, workshops, and fitness challenges.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of benefits and wellness programs through data analysis and employee feedback.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their benefits and wellness-related inquiries and concerns.
- Develop and conduct training programs for HR staff and managers on benefits and wellness-related topics.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and revise policies and procedures related to benefits and wellness programs.
- Manage the budget for benefits and wellness programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
- Stay updated on changes and updates in the benefits and wellness landscape and make recommendations for adjustments to programs and policies as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the health and well-being of all employees.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HR Director.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Benefits Administration, Preferably In A Municipal Or Government Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Benefits And Wellness Programs, Including But Not Limited To Fmla, Ada, And Aca.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Employees, Vendors, And Other Stakeholders.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Wellness Initiatives And Programs, Such As Employee Wellness Challenges, Nutrition Education, And Mental Health Resources.
