  1. Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and hotspots of criminal activity.

  4. Monitor and track crime statistics and provide regular reports to city officials and law enforcement agencies.

  6. Utilize data to create visual representations, such as maps and charts, to communicate findings and recommendations.
  7. Work closely with law enforcement officers to gather information, verify data, and provide support in criminal investigations.
  8. Identify areas of improvement in the city's crime prevention strategies and make recommendations for changes.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of all data and analysis.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members, city officials, and law enforcement agencies.
  11. Keep up-to-date with laws, regulations, and technology related to crime analysis.
  12. Continuously develop and improve analytical skills and techniques.
  13. Follow ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  14. Attend and present at meetings and conferences related to crime analysis.
  15. Conduct training sessions for law enforcement personnel on crime analysis techniques and tools.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminology, Criminal Justice, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Crime Analysis Or A Related Field.

  • Proficient In Statistical Analysis And Data Management Software, Such As Spss Or Excel.

  • Knowledge Of Gis Mapping And Crime Mapping Techniques.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Data In A Clear And Concise Manner.
