Job Description

The City of Portland, Oregon seeks an experienced, motivated, and visionary leader to serve as the Director of the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of urban transportation systems, including public transit, and a demonstrated commitment to creating equitable and safe mobility for all Portlanders. The PBOT Director will lead a team of innovative professionals and shape the future of transportation in our city, while upholding the values of equity, safety, and sustainability. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' experience in transportation planning, engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful management of people, projects, and budgets.
