  1. Conduct regular inspections of city buildings, parks, and streets to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs, to keep public facilities in good condition.
  3. Assist in repairing and maintaining city infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
  4. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment while performing maintenance tasks.
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
  6. Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Maintenance Helper At City Of Reno Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Experience In Building Maintenance: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Building Maintenance, Including Knowledge Of Hvac Systems, Plumbing, And Electrical Systems.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Role Requires Physical Labor, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Carry Heavy Objects.
