  1. Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, preparing legal documents, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems.
  2. Utilize excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Assist attorneys with research and preparation for court cases, including gathering evidence and organizing case documents.
  4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring the completeness and correctness of legal documents.
  5. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, judges, and other legal professionals.
  6. Utilize a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures to assist attorneys in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  7. Proactively identify and address potential issues or discrepancies in legal documents, bringing them to the attention of the attorneys.
  8. Manage and prioritize incoming requests and communications, directing them to the appropriate parties and responding in a timely manner.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive legal information.
  10. Continuously monitor and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the legal department.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Legal Administrative Assistant Role, Preferably In A Municipal Government Setting.

  • Proficiency In Legal Terminology And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Organizational Skills And The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Attorneys, Judges, And Other Legal Professionals.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs, As Well As The Ability To Learn And Adapt To New Technology And Software Systems.
