  1. Provide administrative support to the Office of the City Clerk, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records and files, and coordinating communications.
  2. Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and other documents related to city council meetings and other legislative proceedings.
  3. Collaborate with city council members, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather information and materials for legislative processes.
  4. Ensure all legislative documents and records are accurate, organized, and easily accessible for reference and research purposes.
  5. Respond to inquiries and requests for information from the public, city officials, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Monitor legislative deadlines and timelines to ensure that all documentation and actions are completed in a timely manner.
  7. Attend and take detailed notes during city council meetings and other legislative proceedings.
  8. Assist in the coordination and logistics of public hearings, community forums, and other events related to legislative processes.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  10. Continuously review and update procedures and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the legislative process.
  11. Collaborate with other city departments and external agencies to ensure coordination and consistency in legislative matters.
  12. Stay informed on local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to legislative processes and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  13. Support the City Clerk in preparing and maintaining the city's municipal code and other legal documents.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the City Clerk or other city officials.
