  1. Conduct strategic analysis: Conduct thorough and comprehensive analysis of complex data and information to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will inform decision making by senior leadership.
  2. Provide policy recommendations: Use analytical findings to develop policy recommendations and present them in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership.
  3. Support decision making: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand their priorities and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to support decision making.
  4. Perform data analysis: Utilize various tools and techniques to collect, organize, and analyze data to identify key insights and trends.
  5. Manage projects: Take ownership of projects and initiatives from start to finish, including defining project scope, developing timelines, and monitoring progress.
  6. Communicate effectively: Clearly and effectively communicate complex information and data to a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership, city officials, and community members.
  7. Stay updated: Stay informed about local and national policies, trends, and best practices to provide relevant and timely recommendations to senior leadership.
  8. Develop partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build partnerships with other city departments and external stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.
  9. Identify opportunities for improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, policies, and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Lead and mentor: Act as a mentor and coach to team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Financial Analysis And Budget Management, With A Minimum Of 7 Years In A Senior Level Position.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Of Analysts, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Management And Implementation.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Local Government Operations And Policies, Including Understanding Of Municipal Budgeting Processes And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Financial Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Advanced Degree In Business, Public Administration, Or A Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Data Analysis And Financial Modeling Techniques.
