  1. Assisting in conducting various laboratory experiments and procedures.
  2. Maintaining and organizing laboratory equipment and supplies.
  3. Preparing and sterilizing samples for testing and analysis.
  4. Recording and documenting test results accurately.
  5. Assisting in data entry and analysis.
  6. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the laboratory.
  7. Participating in laboratory meetings and discussions.
  8. Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members and superiors.
  9. Adhering to all laboratory protocols and procedures.
  10. Continuously learning and staying updated on new laboratory techniques and technologies.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Laboratory Aide At City Of Santa Rosa Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Previous Laboratory Experience: Candidates With Previous Laboratory Experience Will Be Preferred For The Role Of Laboratory Aide At City Of Santa Rosa. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Protocols.

  • Ability To Handle And Maintain Laboratory Equipment: A Laboratory Aide At City Of Santa Rosa Should Have The Ability To Handle And Maintain Laboratory Equipment. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Handling, Cleaning, And Storage Procedures For Various Equipment.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Laboratory Aide Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. The Candidate Should Be Able To Follow Precise Instructions And Accurately Record And Report Data.

  • Basic Computer Skills: A Laboratory Aide Should Have Basic Computer Skills To Perform Tasks Such As Data Entry, Report Writing, And Using Laboratory Software. This Will Also Include Knowledge Of Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
