
Accounting Technician
The City of Seattle is looking for an experienced and motivated Accounting Technician to join our growing team. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for the public sector, this individual will be responsible for providing financial management support to the Accounting Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their career in the finance/accounting field.The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in financial management and accounting principles, with a minimum of two years of experience in financial management and/or accounting. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, or equivalent experience in a related field. Additionally, the Accounting Technician should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to learn and use various software programs.
