Pump Station Electrician

The City of Seattle is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Pump Station Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in wastewater pump stations. The qualified individual will possess a strong electrical background and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for an individual who is safety-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Minimum of five years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in wastewater pump stations• Washington State Electrical Administrator license• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code• Knowledge of electrical theory and application• Knowledge of electrical schematics and diagrams• Excellent communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues• Exceptional problem-solving skills• Strong work ethic• Commitment to safety
