  1. Develop and implement environmental policies and initiatives in collaboration with various city departments and stakeholders.
  2. Conduct research and analyze data to inform decision-making and support the development of environmental strategies.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current environmental programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  4. Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  5. Collaborate with community organizations and engage with residents to promote environmental awareness and education.
  6. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate environmental initiatives and progress to city officials and the public.
  7. Lead and coordinate projects related to environmental sustainability, including identifying goals, developing timelines, and managing resources.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and interns.
  9. Identify and pursue funding opportunities for environmental projects and initiatives.
  10. Represent the city at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote and advocate for environmental sustainability.
  11. Maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to leverage resources and support for environmental programs.
  12. Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation plans for city projects.
  13. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to environmental sustainability goals.
  14. Collaborate with other city departments to integrate environmental considerations into various decision-making processes.
  15. Stay informed about emerging environmental technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their potential implementation in the city.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Analysis, Preferably In A Municipal Or Government Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental Regulations And Policies.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Make Recommendations Based On Findings.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With A Team Of Professionals.
