  1. Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility and impact of various construction projects in the City of Sunnyvale.
  2. Develop and review technical plans, specifications, and cost estimates for proposed projects.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards for construction projects.
  4. Coordinate with other city departments, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  5. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.

  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities, including progress reports and budget updates.
  12. Communicate effectively with city officials, contractors, and community members to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all parties involved in the project.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline project delivery and increase efficiency.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results that meet the needs and expectations of the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Civil Engineering, Preferably In A Municipal Government Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Codes Pertaining To Civil Engineering And Construction.

  • Strong Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software And Other Relevant Engineering Software.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Departments And Stakeholders.
