- Coordinate volunteer opportunities and partnerships to enhance community involvement and support.
- Conduct research and stay informed on current issues and trends impacting the community.
- Represent the city at community events and meetings, promoting a positive image and fostering relationships.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of community engagement efforts and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other city departments to support and promote their initiatives and programs.
- Stay up to date on city policies and procedures to effectively communicate with residents.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, providing information and resources as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Community Relations Or Public Outreach.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
Strong Interpersonal And Networking Abilities.
Knowledge Of Local Government Operations And Community Engagement Strategies.
