1. Plan and implement recreational activities and programs for community members of all ages and abilities.
2. Assist in the development of new and innovative programs to meet the changing needs and interests of the community.
3. Provide exceptional customer service to all community members, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and promoting programs and services.
4. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
5. Monitor program registration and attendance, and provide reports and feedback to supervisors.
6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of programs and events.
7. Set up and take down equipment and supplies for programs and events.
8. Encourage active participation and engagement in programs, and provide guidance and assistance as needed.
9. Maintain accurate records of program attendance, equipment inventory, and participant feedback.
10. Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay informed on department policies and procedures.
11. Uphold the Parks and Recreation Department's mission and values, and serve as a positive role model for the community.
12. Assist with marketing efforts to promote programs and events to community members.
13. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of facilities and equipment.
14. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of recreation.
15. Represent the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
