  1. Operate and maintain various water systems throughout the city to ensure the delivery of clean and safe drinking water to residents.
  2. Monitor and adjust equipment and systems to maintain proper water flow, pressure, and quality.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on water systems, including pumps, valves, and meters.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Certification As A Water Treatment Or Distribution Operator From The Arizona Department Of Environmental Quality.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Water Treatment Or Distribution Operations.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Water Treatment And Distribution.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Physically Demanding Environment, Including The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects And Work In Varying Weather Conditions.
