- Operate and maintain various water systems throughout the city to ensure the delivery of clean and safe drinking water to residents.
- Monitor and adjust equipment and systems to maintain proper water flow, pressure, and quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on water systems, including pumps, valves, and meters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of water usage, maintenance activities, and equipment readings.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure the smooth operation of water systems.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as water main breaks or system failures, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and restore services.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Certification As A Water Treatment Or Distribution Operator From The Arizona Department Of Environmental Quality.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Water Treatment Or Distribution Operations.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Water Treatment And Distribution.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Physically Demanding Environment, Including The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects And Work In Varying Weather Conditions.
