1. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during their stay in the inpatient behavioral health unit.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
3. Conduct psychosocial assessments and make appropriate referrals for additional services, such as therapy or support groups.
4. Educate patients and their families on coping strategies and available community resources.
