  1. Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnosis of children with neurological disorders, including but not limited to epilepsy, developmental delays, and neuromuscular disorders.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, taking into account their unique needs and medical history.
  3. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, and therapists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and potential side effects.
  6. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of pediatric neurology and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.
  7. Participate in regularly scheduled departmental meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and share knowledge with colleagues.
  8. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for each patient, adhering to all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  9. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare professionals, including residents and medical students, by providing guidance and sharing expertise.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to patient care and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Child Neurologist At Cleveland Clinic Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Residency And Fellowship Training: The Candidate Should Have Completed A Residency In Pediatrics And A Fellowship In Child Neurology From A Recognized Institution.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Child Neurology By The American Board Of Psychiatry And Neurology.
