  1. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the materials management department.
  2. Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities.
  3. Manage a team of materials management staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and accounting, to ensure smooth and accurate procurement and payment processes.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and resolve any issues that may arise.
  7. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as inventory turnover and supply costs, to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including healthcare staff and management.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the materials management processes.
  12. Adhere to budgetary constraints and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  13. Act as a liaison between the materials management department and other departments within the organization.
  14. Handle any escalated issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Maintain a safe and organized work environment for all materials management staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Materials Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Leadership And Supervisory Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Inventory Control, Procurement, And Distribution Processes

  • Proficient In Using Materials Management Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Microsoft Office Suite
