Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Nephrologist Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Residency And Fellowship Training: Candidates Must Have Completed A Residency In Internal Medicine And A Fellowship In Nephrology From An Accredited Program.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Should Be Board-Certified In Nephrology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).

  • Active Medical License: Candidates Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of Ohio, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.

  • Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Nephrologist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Academic Setting. Experience With Kidney Transplantation And Dialysis Management Is Also Preferred.
