  1. Assist nurses in providing high quality care to patients by performing tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with patient hygiene and mobility, and monitoring patient status.
  2. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by regularly disinfecting equipment and surfaces, and promptly reporting any safety hazards.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with compassionate care and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  4. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner, following all relevant protocols and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  6. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
  7. Attend training and educational sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  8. Assist with stocking and organizing supplies, ensuring that necessary items are readily available for patient care.
  9. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by supervising nurse or healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Care Nurse Assistant At Cleveland Clinic Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education, Demonstrating Basic Reading, Writing, And Math Skills.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Program, Indicating A Basic Understanding Of Nursing Skills And Patient Care Techniques.

  • Prior Healthcare Experience: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility, Is Preferred. This Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Should Be Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) Techniques, Demonstrating The Ability To Perform Life-Saving Measures In Emergency Situations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Patient Care Nurse Assistant Must Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate And Empathetic Care To Patients And Their Families.
