  1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients to determine speech and language needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Utilize evidence-based techniques and strategies to provide effective speech and language therapy services to children of varying ages and abilities.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with other team members.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current research and techniques in the field of pediatric speech and language therapy and incorporate them into practice.
  6. Educate and involve parents and caregivers in treatment plans and provide them with resources and strategies to support their child's communication development.
  7. Monitor and track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  8. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families, understanding the emotional impact of speech and language disorders.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Represent Cleveland Clinic with professionalism and dedication to providing high-quality care to our patients.
  12. Actively participate in community outreach and education programs to promote awareness and understanding of speech and language disorders.
  13. Contribute to the advancement of the field through participation in research studies and publication of findings.
  14. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and trainings related to pediatric speech and language therapy.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited University.

  • Certificate Of Clinical Competence In Speech-Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).

  • State Licensure To Practice Speech-Language Pathology In Ohio.

  • Specialization In Pediatric Speech And Language Disorders, With A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Proficiency In Conducting Comprehensive Assessments And Developing Individualized Treatment Plans For Pediatric Patients.
