As a Police Dispatcher/Communications Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors by responding to emergency calls, dispatching officers, and coordinating communication between various departments.   1. Respond to emergency calls and dispatch officers to the appropriate location.
  2. Coordinate communication between various departments to ensure efficient response to emergencies.
  3. Monitor multiple communication channels and relay important information to officers and other staff members.
  4. Remain calm and composed under pressure while handling emergency situations.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all calls and dispatches.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
  7. Operate various communication equipment, such as radios, telephones, and computer systems.
  8. Keep up-to-date with department policies, procedures, and protocols.
  9. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other emergency response teams.
  10. Report any equipment malfunctions or technical issues to superiors.
  11. Follow strict confidentiality protocols to protect sensitive information.
  12. Conduct training sessions for new dispatchers and provide guidance and support when needed.
  13. Monitor and respond to alarms and other security systems.
  14. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
