- Assist radiology department in providing accurate and timely imaging services to patients.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Completion Of An Accredited Radiology Assistant Program: Candidates Must Have Completed An Accredited Radiology Assistant Program, Which Typically Includes Coursework In Anatomy, Physiology, Radiographic Procedures, And Patient Care.
Arrt Certification: The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Offers Certification For Radiology Assistants, Which Is Required For This Position At Cleveland Clinic. This Certification Ensures That Candidates Have Met The Education And Competency Requirements For Working In This Role.
State Licensure: In Addition To Arrt Certification, Candidates Must Also Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Radiology Assistant. This License May Have Specific Requirements Or Exams That Must Be Completed In Order To Obtain It.
Experience In A Clinical Setting: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Radiology Department. This Experience Should Include Performing Radiographic Procedures, Assisting Radiologists, And Working With Patients.
