Job Description

At the Cleveland Clinic, we are looking to add an innovative and creative Research Data Scientist to our team. As a Research Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives that provide insights into some of the most complex healthcare and medical research challenges. We are looking for an individual with strong technical and analytical skills, as well as an aptitude for problem-solving. To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of data science processes, from data collection and organization to machine learning and predictive analytics. You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including physicians and other medical professionals. You should also have a passion for healthcare research and a commitment to making a positive impact on patient care.The ideal candidate for this role should have:• A master’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics• At least three years of experience in developing and deploying data science solutions• A thorough understanding of machine learning techniques, such as artificial neural networks, deep learning, and support vector machines• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, R, and SQL• Proficiency with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark• Expertise in data visualization programs, such as Tableau and Power BI• Experience in the healthcare field, especially with clinical dataIf you have the skills and experience we are looking for, join our team and help us transform the future of healthcare.
