- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions in the Neurosurgery department.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and medications.
- Assist with procedures and surgeries related to neurosurgery.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and comply with regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their stay at Cleveland Clinic.
- Continuously develop and maintain clinical knowledge and skills through training and educational opportunities.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of patient care processes.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Display a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and visitors.
- Attend to any emergencies or urgent situations promptly and efficiently.
- Act as a resource and mentor to new or less experienced nurses in the department.

- Comply with all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License In The State Of Ohio.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Neurosurgery Unit Or Related Field.
Certification In Neuroscience Nursing (Cnrn) Preferred.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
