1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions in the Neurosurgery department.
2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
3. Monitor and assess patient's condition, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and medications.
6. Assist with procedures and surgeries related to neurosurgery.
7. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Follow all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and comply with regulatory standards.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
10. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their stay at Cleveland Clinic.
11. Continuously develop and maintain clinical knowledge and skills through training and educational opportunities.
12. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
13. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of patient care processes.
14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
16. Display a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and visitors.
17. Attend to any emergencies or urgent situations promptly and efficiently.
18. Act as a resource and mentor to new or less experienced nurses in the department.
