  2. Developing and implementing innovative methods to identify and eradicate malware from Cloudflare's network.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and solutions for mitigating malware threats.
  4. Staying up-to-date with the latest malware trends and techniques to proactively identify and prevent potential threats.
  5. Utilizing reverse engineering tools and techniques to identify vulnerabilities and potential exploits in malware.
  6. Providing regular reports and updates on malware activity and mitigation efforts to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  7. Working closely with the security operations team to respond to and remediate malware incidents.
  8. Continuously improving and optimizing malware analysis processes and procedures.
  9. Participating in knowledge sharing and training sessions to educate team members on malware analysis and detection.
  10. Conducting research and experiments to identify new techniques for detecting and mitigating malware.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Malware Analysis Tools And Techniques: A Malware Reverse Engineer At Cloudflare Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Malware Analysis Tools Such As Ida Pro, Ollydbg, And Wireshark, As Well As The Ability To Analyze And Reverse Engineer Malware Samples Using These Tools.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: In Order To Effectively Reverse Engineer Malware, A Candidate Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Programming Languages Such As C++, Python, And Assembly. This Will Allow Them To Understand The Inner Workings Of The Malware And Develop Effective Mitigation Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Operating Systems And Network Protocols: A Malware Reverse Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Operating Systems Such As Windows, Linux, And Macos, As Well As Network Protocols Such As Tcp/Ip, Http, And Dns.
