Lead and manage a team of automation professionals to design and implement Cypress automation frameworks for client's software applications.
Conduct research and keep up-to-date with latest automation testing techniques and tools to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and scripts to ensure high quality and efficient testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop test cases accordingly.
Identify and document test cases and scenarios to provide comprehensive coverage of software applications.
Review and analyze test results to identify defects and track them to closure.
Mentor and guide team members to enhance their automation skills and knowledge.
Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and guidelines for automation testing.
Participate in meetings and discussions with clients to understand their business needs and provide appropriate testing solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug issues during testing to ensure timely resolution and delivery of high-quality software.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of automation testing projects.
Continuously monitor and improve automation processes to optimize testing efforts and increase efficiency.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to constantly improve the automation testing process.
Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Cypress Automation Testing: The Ideal Candidate For The Cypress Automation Test Lead Job At Cognizant Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Automation Testing, With A Strong Focus On Cypress. They Should Be Well-Versed In Writing Test Scripts, Executing Test Cases, And Analyzing Test Results Using Cypress.
Proficiency In Javascript And Other Programming Languages: A Strong Understanding Of Javascript And Other Programming Languages Is Essential For A Cypress Automation Test Lead At Cognizant. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Writing Complex Test Scripts Using These Languages To Ensure Efficient And Effective Automation Testing.
Experience With Agile Methodologies: Cognizant Follows Agile Methodologies For Software Development, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. They Should Be Comfortable Working In Short Iterations, Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams, And Delivering High-Quality Software In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: A Cypress Automation Test Lead At Cognizant Is Expected To Lead A Team Of Automation Testers And Work Closely With Developers, Business Analysts, And Other Stakeholders. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage The Team, Delegate Tasks, And Report Progress To The Project Manager And Other Stakeholders.
