Cognizant is seeking a talented and motivated MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be an experienced professional with a passion for database technologies and an understanding of how to use them to power mission-critical applications.The successful candidate should have extensive experience with MySQL administration, including setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should also have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.The qualifications we are searching for include:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field• At least five years of professional experience as a MySQL DBA• Expertise in MySQL replication and high-availability solutions• Proficiency in using MySQL command-line tools and MySQL workbench• Experience with cloud-based MySQL databases• Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsIf you are looking for a role where you can use your expertise to create robust and reliable database solutions, this is the position for you. Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain MySQL databases, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Monitor and optimize database performance.
Ensure all databases are secure and compliant with corporate policies and industry standards.
Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for databases.
Develop and document database standards and procedures.
Research and stay up-to-date on new database technologies and trends.
Train and mentor junior database administrators.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of databases.
