Job Description

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Programmer Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, configuring, and testing software applications to meet user requirements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining existing software applications.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least two years of experience in developing and testing software applications. You should have excellent knowledge of programming languages, such as Java and C#, and experience with databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as an aptitude for learning new technologies, are essential. Responsibilities:

Analyze user requirements and design, develop, configure, and test software applications to meet customer needs.
Troubleshoot and maintain existing software applications.
Develop software applications in Java and C#.
Configure databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve software issues.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Provide technical support and customer service.
Document processes and procedures related to software development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
