As the Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the distribution operations for our iconic brand.   1. Oversee the overall operations of the Distribution Center team.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the distribution process and increase efficiency.
  3. Lead and motivate team members to meet and exceed performance goals.
  4. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  8. Develop and manage departmental budgets.
  9. Identify and implement training and development opportunities for team members.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve distribution operations.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments within the company.
  13. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates and recommendations.
  14. Resolve any issues or conflicts within the team.
  15. Represent the company at relevant industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Supply Chain Management: The Director Of Distribution Center Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Retail Or Distribution Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Inventory Management, Logistics, And Warehouse Operations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Large Team Of Employees And Ensuring That All Operations Run Smoothly. They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Their Team, As Well As Make Difficult Decisions When Necessary.

  • Proven Track Record Of Success: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In Managing Distribution Centers, With A Focus On Continuous Improvement And Achieving Operational Efficiency. This Can Be Demonstrated Through Metrics Such As Cost Reduction, On-Time Delivery, And Customer Satisfaction.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance: The Director Of Distribution Center Should Be Well-Versed In Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards For Warehouse Operations. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety Regulations, Labor Laws, And Environmental Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Director Will Need To Work Closely With Other Departments, Such As Procurement, Sales, And Marketing, To Ensure Smooth Coordination And Execution Of Distribution Activities. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Foster Effective Cross-Functional Relationships.
