Materials Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for materials in support of Columbia Sportswear’s business objectives.
2. Source and evaluate vendors and suppliers for materials in accordance with company standards.
3. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
4. Manage the procurement process for materials, ensuring timely delivery and accurate data.
5. Maintain updated records of purchased materials and cost.
6. Monitor materials inventory levels and adjust as necessary.
7. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
8. Analyze market trends and make recommendations to maximize value.
9. Create reports and presentations on materials acquisition and cost savings.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials meet specifications and are delivered on time.
