
Procurement Manager
Columbia Sportswear is looking for a highly motivated and organized Procurement Manager to join our team. This role requires a results-driven individual with a strong sense of technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and supplier management. He or she will have a strong understanding of the apparel industry and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects. With a customer-focused approach, the Procurement Manager will ensure that Columbia Sportswear is able to meet supplier and customer needs in a cost-efficient and timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and supplier management plans.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Establish and maintain customer service standards.
- Create and implement processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for the organization.
- Manage the procurement budget and reduce costs where possible.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends in supplier performance.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement activities.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and developments.
