
Procurement Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Procurement Manager to join the Columbia Sportswear team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage the company's procurement processes and drive cost savings initiatives. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify and secure the most cost-effective products and suppliers.To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. You should also have at least five years of experience in a procurement/sourcing role with a proven track record of success. You must possess strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to identify and secure cost-effective products and suppliers.
- Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors while ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Analyze and evaluate supplier performance and suggest improvements.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new cost savings opportunities.
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure it is within the set limits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor procurement activities and provide reports on the progress.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze market trends and develop strategies to maximize cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.
