- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote Comcast's brand and reputation.
- Create and maintain relationships with media outlets, reporters, and influencers to secure positive coverage and manage any potential negative publicity.
- Write and edit press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials to effectively convey key messages and maintain consistency in branding.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to identify and leverage opportunities for positive media coverage and brand recognition.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage of Comcast and its competitors to identify trends and adjust communication strategies accordingly.
- Act as a spokesperson for Comcast, responding to media inquiries and arranging interviews with key company executives.
- Plan and coordinate media events, such as press conferences and product launches, to generate buzz and increase media exposure.
- Utilize social media platforms to engage with audiences and promote company initiatives.
- Train and prepare company executives and spokespersons for media interviews and public speaking engagements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in public relations and communication to continuously improve and innovate Comcast's communication strategies.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Public Relations Role, Preferably In The Telecommunications Or Media Industry
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Craft Compelling Messaging And Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders
Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Meet Tight Deadlines
Proficiency In Social Media Management And Media Monitoring Tools, With A Strong Understanding Of Current Social Media Trends And Best Practices.
