As an Aviation Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our aircraft through thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.   1. Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on our fleet of aircraft to ensure their safe and reliable operation.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, identifying and diagnosing any potential issues or areas in need of repair.
  3. Conduct repairs and replacements of aircraft parts, components, and systems as needed.
  4. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others while working on aircraft.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance work performed.
  6. Communicate effectively with other members of the maintenance team to coordinate tasks and troubleshoot any issues.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to aircraft maintenance.
  8. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  9. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
  10. Monitor and report any potential aircraft maintenance concerns to superiors.
  11. Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
  12. Continuously strive to improve and optimize maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  13. Train and mentor new mechanics as needed.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Faa Certification: A Qualified Aviation Mechanic At Comcast Should Possess A Current Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Certification, Which Demonstrates Comprehensive Knowledge And Skills In Aircraft Maintenance.

  • Experience With Avionics Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Avionics Systems, Including Troubleshooting, Repair, And Installation Of Communication, Navigation, And Flight Control Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Faa Regulations: A Thorough Understanding Of Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) Regulations Is Crucial For An Aviation Mechanic At Comcast. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety Protocols, Maintenance Procedures, And Record-Keeping Requirements.

  • Attention To Detail: Aviation Mechanics Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure The Safety And Reliability Of Aircraft. This Includes Carefully Following Maintenance Procedures, Conducting Thorough Inspections, And Accurately Documenting All Work Performed.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: As Part Of A Larger Team, An Aviation Mechanic At Comcast Must Have Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills. This Includes The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Technicians, Pilots, And Support Staff, As Well As Effectively Communicating Maintenance Issues And Updates To Management.
