- Assist in the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the company.
- Conduct research and gather data on best practices for promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to promote diversity and equity.
- Plan and coordinate diversity and inclusion events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Communicate with employees at all levels to promote awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Support the creation and maintenance of diverse recruitment and retention programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and partners to support diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Monitor and analyze diversity and inclusion metrics to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
- Create and distribute educational materials and resources to promote diversity and inclusion within the company.
- Participate in company-wide diversity and inclusion committees and working groups.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure that diversity and inclusion principles are integrated into company policies and procedures.
- Provide support to employees who have experienced discrimination or harassment, and assist in resolving related issues.
- Represent Comcast at external events and conferences focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Embody and promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and equality within the company.
Strong Understanding Of Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Principles: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion (Dei) Principles And How They Are Applied In The Workplace. This Includes Knowledge Of Current Dei Initiatives And Trends, As Well As The Ability To Provide Recommendations For Improvement.
Excellent Communication Skills: As An Intern, You Will Be Working With Various Teams And Stakeholders Within The Company. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Effective Collaboration And The Ability To Convey Dei Concepts And Initiatives To Others.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Dei Work Often Involves Analyzing Data And Identifying Areas For Improvement. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Patterns And Make Data-Driven Recommendations For Promoting Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Within The Organization.
