- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and procedures to protect employees, customers, and assets of Comerica Bank.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of corporate security, including physical security, information security, and fraud prevention.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in the organization's operations and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Monitor and analyze security data to identify trends and proactively address potential threats.
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to enhance security measures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to corporate security and risk management.
- Develop and implement crisis management plans and procedures to effectively handle emergency situations.
- Train and educate employees on security protocols and procedures to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.
- Manage a team of security professionals and provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the success of the corporate security program.
- Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on security initiatives, risks, and incidents.
- Represent the organization in security-related meetings, conferences, and events.
- Act as a liaison between Comerica Bank and external stakeholders, such as law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and industry groups, on security matters.
Extensive Experience In Corporate Security And Crisis Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Corporate Security And Crisis Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Security Strategies In A Large And Complex Organization.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Best Practices: The Director Of Corporate Security & Ccrm Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Relevant Regulations Such As Sarbanes-Oxley, Glba, And Ffiec, As Well As Best Practices In The Financial Industry For Maintaining A Secure And Compliant Environment.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Will Require Strong Leadership Skills To Manage A Team Of Security Professionals And Collaborate With Other Departments And External Stakeholders. Effective Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Also Essential For This Role.
Ability To Develop And Implement Security Policies And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Security Policies And Procedures, Including Incident Response Plans, Risk Assessments, And Business Continuity Plans.
Prior Experience In Managing Security Incidents And Crises: The Director Of Corporate Security & Ccrm Should Have A Proven Ability To Effectively Manage Security Incidents And Crises, Including Coordinating With Law Enforcement, Managing Media Relations, And Mitigating Potential Reputational Damage To The Bank.
