Job Description

At Comerica Bank, we believe in providing our customers with the highest level of security and reliability. That's why we are seeking a Director of Enterprise Resiliency & Recovery to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of strategies and programs to ensure the resilience and recovery of our enterprise systems and operations. We are looking for a driven and experienced individual with a strong background in risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.   1. Develop and implement enterprise resiliency and recovery strategies to ensure the security and reliability of Comerica Bank's operations and systems.
  2. Lead the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and business continuity plans for all critical business functions.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the organization's operations.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure alignment of resiliency and recovery strategies with business objectives.
  5. Oversee the testing and validation of disaster recovery plans and procedures on a regular basis.
  6. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of resiliency and recovery strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to enterprise resiliency and recovery.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated response to any potential disruptions or disasters.
  9. Train and educate employees on disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
  10. Manage and allocate resources to support the implementation and maintenance of resiliency and recovery strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Enterprise Resiliency And Recovery: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Enterprise Resiliency And Recovery Programs, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Business Continuity Planning: The Director Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Business Continuity Planning, Including Risk Assessment, Crisis Management, And Disaster Recovery Strategies.

  • Leadership And Strategic Planning Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team, As Well As Develop And Execute Strategic Plans To Ensure The Organization's Resilience And Recovery Capabilities.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Director Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, It Teams, And External Partners.

  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (Cbcp) Or Equivalent Certification: A Cbcp Or Similar Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Proficiency In Business Continuity Planning And Is Highly Desirable For This Role.
