- Develop and implement control procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies in the retail banking sector.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in retail banking operations and work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and review retail banking processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to develop and maintain a strong control and governance framework.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulatory changes and proactively communicate any potential impact to the retail banking operations.
- Provide training and support to retail banking teams to ensure understanding and adherence to control procedures and policies.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis to resolve any control or governance-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of control activities, audits, and findings.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and regulatory bodies on control and governance activities and findings.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance retail banking processes and controls.
- Foster a culture of compliance and risk management within the retail banking organization.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure alignment and understanding of control and governance initiatives.
- Continuously review and improve control and governance processes to keep up with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Retail Banking Operations Or Compliance.
Strong Knowledge Of Banking Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Such As Bsa, Aml, And Kyc.
Experience Conducting Audits And Risk Assessments To Identify Control Gaps And Recommend Solutions.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Sound Decisions.
