
Pharmacy Technician - Certified
The Community Health Network is looking for the best and brightest Pharmacy Technician - Certified to join our team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients by providing accurate and efficient pharmacy operations.We are looking for candidates who possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience. Pharmacy technician certification is a must for this role. Our ideal candidate is a team-oriented individual with a solid work ethic and excellent customer service skills. You should be comfortable with multitasking, working independently, and learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.If you are passionate about providing excellent care to our patients and serving as a valued member of our pharmacy team, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to customers.
- Ensure accuracy of all prescriptions and be responsible for all customer service inquiries.
- Input patient information into pharmacy management systems.
- Process insurance claims and payments.
- Maintain inventory and restock shelves.
- Answer phones and provide customer assistance.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures.
- Follow state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to pharmacies.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new pharmacy technicians.
- Participate in continuing education and certification programs.

Current Certification As A Pharmacy Technician From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha)
