Job Description

The Community Health Network is looking for the best and brightest Pharmacy Technician - Certified to join our team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients by providing accurate and efficient pharmacy operations.We are looking for candidates who possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience. Pharmacy technician certification is a must for this role. Our ideal candidate is a team-oriented individual with a solid work ethic and excellent customer service skills. You should be comfortable with multitasking, working independently, and learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.If you are passionate about providing excellent care to our patients and serving as a valued member of our pharmacy team, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to customers.
  2. Ensure accuracy of all prescriptions and be responsible for all customer service inquiries.
  3. Input patient information into pharmacy management systems.
  4. Process insurance claims and payments.
  5. Maintain inventory and restock shelves.
  6. Answer phones and provide customer assistance.
  7. Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  8. Follow state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to pharmacies.
  9. Assist with training and onboarding of new pharmacy technicians.
  10. Participate in continuing education and certification programs.
