Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Maternity to join our team at Community Health Network. This position is ideal for an experienced, passionate, and caring nurse who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. The RN – Maternity will be a part of a dynamic and supportive team that works together to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a valid Registered Nurse license, as well as an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. The RN – Maternity must have a minimum of two years of experience in a Maternity Unit or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In addition, the successful candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working with a diverse patient population. A commitment to patient-centered care, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care and support to mothers and newborns
• Utilize nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient and family care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and their families
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Educate patients and families on proper post-delivery care, nutrition, and other relevant topics
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer tests, and record progress
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and their families
• Remain current with industry standards and practices related to Neonatal Intensive Care and Maternity Units
