Occupational Therapist Inpatient

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy care to inpatient population.
2. Maintain current knowledge of Occupational Therapy principles, treatments, and techniques.
3. Exercise independent judgment and utilize problem-solving skills to provide optimal patient care.
4. Adhere to applicable state and federal laws and regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
5. Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, family members, and other health care team members.
6. Provide patient and family education regarding OT principles, treatments, and techniques.
7. Participate in quality improvement activities and other professional development initiatives.
8. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure patient safety.
9. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans in response to patient needs.
10. Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital standards.
