
Learning and Evaluation Officer
Conducts project management responsibilities including oversight for research and evaluation grants and contracts in support of Initiative learning and evaluation. Supports the development of working hypotheses underlying Strategic Initiative strategies to best attain program goals. Works with Foundation staff and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) partners to implement standards of evaluation practice and explore potential areas for cross-program learning. Acts as an advocate for understanding and application of evidence-based learning and decision-making across the organization and supports a shared culture of learning. Coordinates MEL-related events, such as internal and partner meetings, including MEL Partner convenings.
Five or more years’ experience in evaluation
Willingness to seek out, receive and act on feedback to achieve better performance and work products.
Two or more years' work experience in international contexts, particularly developing country contexts preferred
